Rehearsing
futures for systems
in transitions
Lagori Collective is an experimental research and design studio. We work to expand conditions under which multiple futures remain possible.
Cultural practice extends our work into shared spaces. Through workshops, exhibitions, storytelling, and programming, we create formats that invite people into the process. These engagements translate research and futures into collective experiences, opening up space for provocation, participation, and new forms of dialogue.
What We Do
DESIGN RESEARCH
& FIELD EXPLORATIONCULTURAL PRACTICE & ENGAGEMENTWe approach futures as a practice grounded in place. Our work looks at how change is unfolding across specific contexts, and creates the conditions to imagine, shape, and rehearse multiple, preferred futures. This includes finding direction in uncertainty, and developing strategies and prototypes that can be explored, tested, and taken forward in practice.
Grounded, qualitative and participatory research sits at the core of our work. It is field-led, shaped through immersion, conversations, co-design, and landscape inquiry. We focus on understanding how people, markets, and systems are shifting in lived contexts, and surfacing insights that hold.
